Grand reopening and facility usage

A grand reopening celebration breakfast is tentatively scheduled for members, volunteers and staff on March 29, 9:30AM. At this event, the new branch director for the Newtown Branch will also be introduced.

During the closure, Newtown members are encouraged to use the other YMCA of Bucks County branches, including nearby Fairless Hills and Warminster, in addition to Doylestown and Quakertown. Naturally, the reciprocity rule requiring 51% monthly usage at your home branch will be lifted for the month of March for Newtown members.  Schedules for pool, group exercise and gymnasium usage at all branches can be found here.

The Café extends hours

A great benefit to Y members is The Café, located on-site in Chandler Hall's Wrights Meeting Hall. Each weekday, The Café offers new luncheon specials, along with a wide range of reasonably priced favorites including salads, deli sandwiches, veggie wraps, burgers and pizza. “Wellness Wednesday” menus feature special entrees for the healthy minded. The Café recently increased their hours to better serve Y members, Chandler Hall residents, visitors and staff.

Café hours:
Monday 7AM - 2:30PM
Tuesdays-Friday 11AM - 6:30PM
Saturday-Sunday CLOSED

Parking clarified

Just a reminder to obey the parking and entrance restrictions as defined by Chandler Hall. We kindly ask Y members to avoid parking in spots labeled as “residents only” as these are dedicated and assigned to residents. We also ask Y members to access the fitness center and café through the main entrance and not through the Cain or Llenroc entrances, as these are dedicated to residents.

For your convenience, below is a visual diagram of where you can park when at the fitness center.

Thank you for your continuous support. We cannot wait to serve you more in our newly refurbished Newtown branch.
