YMCA of Bucks County offers preschool camp programs in Newtown, Morrisville
YMCA of Bucks County offers preschool summer camp programs throughout Bucks County, including prominent programs in Newtown and Morrisville.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, children between age 3-5 become more independent and begin to focus more on adults and children outside of their family with a need to explore, reason and move. YMCA Preschool Camps are a great way to introduce children to an educational and social program while in a fun, summertime atmosphere.
At the YMCA Morrisville Youth Education Center, the Junior Adventure Camp program offers weekly schedules, with early and late extended care options. With weekly themes and a great mix of indoor and outdoor activities, the Junior Adventure Camp provides a more traditional camp experience where children can learn, grow and thrive, celebrating the 2019 ‘This is Me’ camp theme. Information on this Morrisville-based program can be found online HERE or by contacting Ryan Hazelett at email@example.com.
The Preschool Summer Explorers program for ages 3-5 is an offshoot of the Y’s traditional child care programs, held year round at the Newtown branch. Summer explorers allow youth to explore a wide-range of activities and experiences with lessons linked to the Pennsylvania Early Learning Standard to ensure children are developing kindergarten readiness skills. The programs offer flexible morning only or full day programs with two, three or five day per week options. Information on the Newtown program can be found online HERE or by contacting Amy Zook at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Summer programs for preschool youth provide an opportunity for children to experience time away for their parent and caregiver in a safe and educationally sound environment focused on helping them develop the skills needed for social and school readiness. Visit the YMCA of Bucks County website for full details on camp programs for all ages, available countywide.
