“Welcoming Week” is Sept 13-22


Guest fee is waived between Sept 13-22 in celebration of community.

411908_2019-DIG_Welcoming-Week_Instagram_1080x1080_03This Welcoming Week, taking place September 13-22, YMCA of Bucks County will join Welcoming America and hundreds of YMCAs and other organizations nationwide in hosting a week to celebrate immigrants’ contributions to communities and bring together all residents in a spirit of unity.

During Welcoming Week, YMCA of Bucks County will waive their guest fee to the entire community for the week of September 13-22. With branches in Doylestown, Fairless Hills, Newtown, Quakertown and Warminster, the community is encouraged to stop by to use the fitness center, pools, gymnasium and more.

“These events are part of a powerful and growing movement in our country and around the world, demonstrating that communities want to be welcoming,” said Rachel Peric, Executive Director of Welcoming America. “Welcoming Week is a reminder of the resilient and inclusive spirit of American communities. Thousands of local leaders nationwide are bringing their communities together to bridge divides and build stronger local economies where everyone belongs.”
