Warminster Branch to Offer Aquatics, Additional Program Space beginning Jan 4


We are happy to announce that our new Warminster branch aquatics center will open in conjunction with our facility reopening on January 4, 2021! Beginning in January, the Warminster branch will offer swim lessons, aquatics group exercise, recreational lane usage, recreational swim, additional youth and family programs, and birthday party rentals to our members. Aquatic therapy services will also be offered by NovaCare, a nationally renowned and community-based provider of outpatient physical therapy and rehabilitation. Children enrolled in Camp Bucks - Warminster will also now have the added value of daily swimming and water safe swim lessons. The addition of aquatic services represents our continued commitment to ensure our communities are healthy and water safe. 

About the Aquatics Center

Our new aquatics center includes a 2’ to 4’9” deep pool kept at a consistent 86 degrees with 2 locker rooms and 9 individual changing rooms and a spacious pool viewing area. The new center also provides additional program space allowing us to offer more youth art and fitness classes like family yoga and kids bootcamp, birthday parties and more.  

Programs - Registration begins Wednesday, Dec 16!

We will offer parent/child swim lessons for ages 6 months to 2 years, preschool swim lessons for ages 3-5 years, and school age swim lessons for ages 6-12 years. Private and semi-private swim lessons are also available. Members receive a discounted rate on swim lessons as part of their membership. Registration begins Dec 16 <online> and over the phone (267.387.9622)!  Financial assistance is available to those who qualify. 

Additionally, lap and recreational swim and aquatics group exercise classes will be provided free as a benefit of membership and are available via a schedule and reservation process. 

Reservation process

Similar to group exercise, Warminster members will utilize our online scheduling software to schedule water aerobics and/or lap swim or open swim. The link to our reservation software for all branches can be found on our website <HERE> Currently, a reservation is required for lap swim, recreational swim and aquatic group exercise classes and there is a daily, 45-minute time limit for pool use. 

Safety protocols 

All of our current safety protocols remain in place. Full details can be found <HERE> New to our Warminster members are policies regarding utilizing the pool and mask requirements. All individuals are to wear a face covering up until the moment they enter the water and immediately after exiting the water. Full information on mask mandates and Y policies can be found <HERE>

Frequently Asked Questions

When will aquatics programs be offered? Aquatics programs will be offered beginning January, 2021. Registration begins Wednesday, Dec 16. 

What types of programs will be offered? We will offer parent/child swim lessons for ages 6 months to 2 years, preschool swim lessons for ages 3-5 years, and school age swim lessons for ages 6-12. Private and semi-private swim lessons are also available.  Additionally, recreational swim time will be provided to members as well as aquatics group exercise classes. 

Will my membership rates go up?
At this time, our plan is to hold our membership rates for Warminster members to the current monthly rates for the near future. At some time in 2021, as we do every year, our membership rates across the county will be evaluated and a decision made as to whether a rate increase is needed to sustain our operations.

Will you begin offering Stay & Play babysitting services again? We will continue to evaluate the need for Stay and Play babysitting services. If the need arises, we will provide the service. 

Can I attend a class or workout in the fitness center if I am a member and my child is in swim lessons?
Due to the close proximity of the fitness center, and the nurturing size of the branch, parents and/or guardians are permitted to attend a class or workout in the fitness center while the child is in swim lessons. 

Does my child wear a mask during swim lessons?
Based on guidance from the PA Department of Health, masks are removed upon entering the water.
