FOR OUR MEMBERS
Remote Fitness Options
Regular exercise is one component of a healthy lifestyle that can help reduce stress and prevent illness during the flu season. To support your continuing health and wellness journey, we encourage you to check out the following options:
Online, group classes available to you for free. We invite members to access Y360 for a variety of group exercise classes that you can do from home.
At Home Workouts. Our fitness team is working on a series of “At Home Workouts” that will be available early next week. We will be providing written workouts as well as video versions with an instructor who will walk you through the workout, motivate you, and provide helpful tips to keep you fit and well. Watch for more details to come!
Challenges & MYZONE
We encourage all members participating in a membership challenge, such as Fill Your Bucket Bucks County!, to continue working towards your goals while at home.
For our members exercising with MYZONE, remember to keep using your MYZONE belt. Our March Challenge is still going strong! Keep on MEPing! Use the app on your phone to record your data - you can do this!
Be on the lookout for a mini-challenge during our break to keep you motivated… you will receive notifications to enter the challenge.
Personal services clients (fitness, aquatics, ability programs)
Purchases for personal training, health coaching, private swim lessons and similar services will not be refunded. We encourage you to work directly with the staff member providing these services to postpone and reschedule your remaining classes and services.
Some of our personal trainers have asked to provide virtual trainings; if this option interests you, please contact your trainer and/or fitness director for details.
Membership Freeze vs. Cancellation
We kindly ask all members to consider continuing their membership and participating in our virtual fitness options described above. For members who still want to cancel their membership, we do offer an option to put your membership on freeze. Our Welcome Center staff can help you with this option.
FOR OUR PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS
Our Spring I session is currently scheduled for Monday, February 24 - Sunday, April 19. With our closure, the new Spring I schedule will extend to Sunday, May 3, 2020. Upon reopening on Monday, March 30, your classes and programs will resume on their usual day and time. As the session is being extended to fulfill eight weeks of programming, credits and/or refunds will not be provided.
FOR OUR COMPETITIVE TEAMS AND SPORTS LEAGUES
For our Doylestown Dolphins and Tri Hampton YMCA Swim Team: Our natural spring break will now move to Saturday, March 14 - Sunday, March 29. At this time, Quakertown Barracudas will continue their natural swim team break; stay tuned for spring clinic information.
Gymnastics teams, sports leagues and Tae Kwon Do (youth and adult), will be paused during this time. Should a scheduled outside competition hosted by another organization still be running, team members and their coach would still be permitted to attend at the discretion of their parent/guardian.
