Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates
Letter to Members from COO Trish Feinthel
As outlined below, during these next few weeks, more than ever, we remain HERE FOR YOU:
1. Exercise Right at Home: EXCITING NEWS - FREE Online Fitness Classes are HERE!
Did you know? Regular exercise is one component of a healthy lifestyle that can help reduce stress and prevent illness. To support your continuing well-being, we are thrilled to be able to provide you with FREE access to online fitness programs:
Les Mills classes are some of our most popular offerings with programs including strength, cardio, HIIT, dance, flexibility and more. During this time of closure we are happy to partner with Les Mills to provide this at-home option to our members. This platform is free to use and will not collect any data from users. It has 95 workout options across 8 categories that are ready to play right now. The workouts will remain open and available as long as the coronavirus situation continues to cause disruption.
Enjoy FREE Premium Access here.

Right now, your YMCA of Bucks County fitness leaders are creating a series of “At Home Workouts” that will be available beginning the afternoon of Tuesday, March 17, with greater options added each day. Some of your favorite Personal Trainers and Fitness Center Coaches will walk you through the workout, motivate you, and provide helpful tips to keep you fit and well!
2. COMING Wednesday, 3/18/20, additional libraries will be added to our Here for You Online Library. Watch for these exciting additions:
- Nutrition guidance and healthy recipes
- Mindfulness and stress management
- Family health and physical activities
- Family crafts, cooking and learning
3. HERE FOR YOU. MOVE. LEARN. PLAY. Coming soon!
Who doesn’t love a healthy competition! Launching Wednesday, March 18, 2020, we have an at home wellness challenge and invite all members and the greater community to join us. Watch for details!
While our staff continue to work remotely, developing your online program library complete with fitness, nutrition, mindfulness, youth and family activities, they are also responding to your email inquiries as quickly as they come in.
All of us at the Y are grateful for the outpouring of support many of you have expressed. We are committed to doing everything possible to secure the future of the YMCA, and all its services, as these uncertain times continue. Closure for any length of time represents a significant threat to our nonprofit organization.
Watch your email on Wednesday for the launch of our full Here for You Online Library. Thank you for standing by us. We wish you and your family good health.
Bucks County Strong,
Chief Operations Officer
