EITC Funding

YMCA of Bucks County participates in the Educational Improvement Tax Program, a program supported by the PA Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED).

Businesses can give to YMCA of Bucks County and support Pre-K and school age programs such as CATCH and Youth and Government by making a donation through the Education Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program.

  • 90% tax credit for donors with 2 year commitment.
  • Tax credit can be switched to the more popular Education Improvement (EI) tax credit in future years
  • Tax credits are typically only available May 15 for existing donors and July 1 for new donors.

Free donor-supported community programs include: Veterans Wellness Initiative, 7th Grade Initiative, 2nd Grade Swim, Empower U for Girls, NORM (for adjudicated youth), THRIVE Cancer Wellness and Back to you (B2U). We feed more than 3,000 children daily and provide financial assistance for those in need. YMCA of Bucks County is also a leader regionally, state-wide and nationally.
