Registration is ongoing for your 12-week program
For age: 65 years and older
Cost: Living Active Extended registration runs until December 31, 2020. Thanks to funding provided by County of Bucks using CARES Act (Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security), this 12-week program is designed for seniors seeking connection during the COVID pandemic. It is free to any senior whose annual household income is less than $54,150 (individual) per year or $61,850 (family of two).
Program is free to current members of YMCA of Bucks County but registration is still required.
Program Length: Anyone age 65+ can register for their 12-week program at any time through December 31, 2020. Their 12-week Living Active Extended program begins on the date of their registration.
Program runs through Feb 7 with currently registered participants. New participants are no longer being accepted.

What does the program include?
Weekly virtual, small group meetings
Engage with a small group in Zoom meetings that are social and educational. In addition to social get-togethers, professional workshop topics include nutrition and wellness. YMCA staff will also check-in with participants periodically to discuss short and long-term goals and support their participation in the program. Optional group book club also included featuring Didn't See that Coming by Rachel Hollis.

Virtual Wellness Platform
The Y’s new, virtual wellness platform includes online fitness, wellness, nutrition and other activities online. The platform includes live and on-demand classes with YMCA instructors and 1000s of on-demand classes from instructors nationwide including all levels of at-home group exercise. On-demand programs include topics of interest to seniors and include classes for individuals with diabetes, Parkinson's disease and cancer as well as workshops on financial wellbeing, sleep and stress management.
