Silver Sneakers

SilverSneakers is a health and fitness program that’s specifically aimed at adults ages 65 and older.

At YMCA of Bucks County, we now partner with SilverSneakers at all of our member branches. At YMCA of Bucks County, the program includes the following benefits:

  • use of facilities include fitness equipment, pools, gymnasium and more
  • fitness classes specifically designed for older adults of all fitness levels, including cardio workouts, strength training, and yoga
  • access to Y Wellness 24/7, our virtual wellness platform providing access to hundreds of live and on-demand classes and activities
  • a supportive community of fellow participants both in person and online

Getting started:
SilverSneakers at YMCA of Bucks County

As a SilverSneakers member, YMCA of Bucks County provides you with the greatest options in achieving and/or maintaining a healthy lifestyle! You now have access to all the amenities the Y has to offer including land and water group exercise classes, strength and cardio in the fitness center, lap swimming, water walking, and more. Best of all, you can access any of our five branches or exercise with us from home through Y Wellness 24/7, our new virtual wellness platform.

We surveyed our most successful and healthiest SilverSneakers members, and below are the TOP FIVE PRACTICES that kept them feeling happy, healthy and connected.

  1. Join us live. Make the most of your membership! Visit often! We strongly encourage you to visit at least 3 times per week at any of our five membership locations.. Click on membership page links, located on this page.
  2. Join us at home. Y Wellness 24/7 provides over 150 live and on-demand group exercise classes for all ages and fitness levels, taught by caring Y instructors.<Click here for information>
