Group fitness classes are an important part of your wellness experience at YMCA of Bucks County. At the Y, we offer guidance from certified instructors in a variety classes.
In Doylestown, Fairless Hills and Newtown and Quakertown, group exercise classes are offered in our studios and in our pools, while Warminster offers a variety of group exercise classes in our studios. Group exercise classes in all branches are free to members.

Metabolic Analysis (by appointment)
When it comes to weight loss, there is no such thing as One Size Fits All...there is one basic truth however; you need to burn more than you eat. Our KORR Metabolic Analysis will tell you exactly how many calories your body actually burns and how many calories you should eat to lose or maintain your weight. This is a necessary analysis for anyone serious about achieving their weight loss goals. We encourage re-analysis every 4 to 6 months to establish new caloric guidelines to follow. Aqua Yoga takes the principles and moves of Yoga and adapts them to the water environment. Gentle and no impact on joint exercise. Work on balance, flexibility and relaxation of the body and mind.
This class uses a variety of movements to create resistance training to give you a full body workout. tone and strengthen muscles with medium cardio exercises while insuring lower impact on joints with the support of the water
Endorsed by the National Arthritis Foundation, designed to help reduce stiffness, pain and improve joint flexibility. Meets recommended water temperature of 84-88 degrees.
Aqua Pi-Yo-Chi is a fusion of yoga poses, Pilates exercises and Tai Chi movements to help increase overall health and wellness. This class helps with core strength, balance, flexibility, relation of the body and mind.
