In-residence physical therapy
We have exciting news to share about our partnership with NovaCare!
YMCA of Bucks County is proud to announce the expansion of their recent partnership with NovaCare Rehabilitation to include access to physical therapy screenings and services in their Fairless Hills and Quakertown branches.
The in-residence physical therapy services in the branches will be available in Fairless Hills from 9 AM-12 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday and in Quakertown from 8 AM-12 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
The partnership will allow licensed physical therapists to evaluate and treat Y members who may be recovering from injury, disease, or experiencing other illnesses or pain.
Teens, adults and seniors will be able to access physical therapy services right in the place where they work out each day. Their physical therapist will be able to assess their workouts for safety and accuracy and make corrections on a daily basis, reducing risk of injury and strain. NovaCare will also work with your Y personal trainer to create an individualized program specific to your needs. Stop by the fitness center and say hello and set up a complimentary consultation!
YMCA of Bucks County and NovaCare have a shared commitment to the community, especially in regard to assisting residents experiencing or recovering from chronic illness. The organizations have announced an exciting shared county-wide commitment aimed at improving the health and wellness of all residents in Bucks County.
To access services, members can visit the NovaCare desk to speak directly with a physical therapist or call for an appointment.
