Today, day camp is more vital than ever. With an emphasis on achievement, relationships and belonging, day camp at the Y is more than a mechanism for keeping kids busy during the summer; it is an opportunity to develop the overall well-being of youth.

This summer we introduce all new themes, exciting specialty camps and fun sports camps. We will also be swimming twice per week at the nearby William Tennent High School pool.  Entering our 5th year serving our community, we can't wait to see you at camp!

As campers learn, grow and thrive in our values-based camp environment; parents and caregivers, you can look forward to the following VALUE in our camp fees:

  • Empowering youth from preschool to 10th Grade
  • FREE breakfast and lunch provided to all campers*
  • Full day campers swim twice per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. All campers are swim tested for safety and wear color bands representing their swim level
  • NEW! FUN FRIDAYS! This summer, your campers will spend less time on a bus and MORE time having fun right on campus. Each Friday of camp will include specialty theme snacks, water games, music and weekly special guests such as magicians, petting zoos, and more!
  • Highly trained and engaged camp staff; a full camp leadership team to support you
  • Flexible scheduling including full day, half day and extended care options
  • High parent communication through our Facebook groups and weekly email blasts

*Food program is a funded program and not always guaranteed; the food program does not impact pricing and holds no cash value.

Our dedicated camp staff leadership team look forward to serving you and your family this summer. Thank you for choosing YMCA of Bucks County. Together we are, Bucks County Strong!

Tips and Important Information

  • Registration for the upcoming week of camp is required by 12PM on the Sunday prior to the camp week of choice. For example, if participating in camp the week of July 1, families must register by Sunday, June 30, 12PM at the latest. The registration cut off time is for the safety of all campers, as it supports the camp team in collecting and reviewing all camper information while designing the appropriate staff ratios for a memorable week at camp. (Note: Ability Camp closes two weeks in advance due to the intake/interview approval process)
  • Specialty camps like cooking, drama, make-a-movie, fishing and indoor sports are limited based on space and supplies. These smaller and popular camps may fill quickly; please register early.
  • Your "Welcome to Camp" gift is available at the Welcome Center, while supplies last. Online registrants, be sure to pick up your gift when you drop off your paperwork.
