Teens are able to participate in most of the Health and Wellness offerings at YMCA of Bucks County!  In addition, special classes, seasonal fitness programs and sports are offered just for them!

7th Grade Initiative and Teen Members: Get Started

  1. Student must read and sign the Member Code of Conduct
  2. Student must read the Teen Strength and Fitness Orientation Guide, watch the Fitness Equipment Orientation Video & take the Teen Orientation Quiz
  3. Download the YMCA of Bucks County app review WORKOUTS to adult/teen cardio workout (hit start/once completed, choose Teen Total Body Strength Workout for helpful training videos.

Be sure to screenshot completed test results, needing a score of at least 25 out of 32 questions correct, as your student will need to show this screenshot to the Welcome Center to receive his/her scan tag to scan each time they enter the facility.

Personal, Partner and Team Training

Fitness training will help you to create sustainable lifestyle changes to meet your personal health and wellness goals. Get the expertise from any of our experienced and dedicated trainers who will design a program backed by science and delivered with passion for a stronger and healthier you.  Now offering even more program options! Meet with a trainer one-on-one, with a partner, or in a team setting of 3 to 5 participants, outdoors or indoors at any of our branch locations or virtually anywhere you are!  Available for ages 12 and older.  <FITNESS TRAINING>

Curious about yoga, but not sure where to start? This beginners series introduces commonly taught yoga poses and the meditation and breathing techniques you can expect in yoga classes. Taught through demonstration, discussion and the opportunity to practice each week in a supportive environment!

Teen/PreTeen Programming - Doylestown branch
Teen Basketball League
Recreational league led by YMCA staff. Teams will play on Friday evenings from September 17 to November 5. Schedule rotates each week. Teams scheduled for one hour between 6 & 9 PM each week. All players will receive a team shirt.

Learn how to make healthy options while sharpening your skills in the kitchen.

Drop your kids off for a night of fun at the Doylestown YMCA. Y staff will lead various fun activities for the kids.

Y Achievers (Grades 7-9)
A free leadership and career exploration group for middle school students. Group will meet at the Y once a month and have an opportunity to virtually connect with other Y Achievers countywide.
