TEEN FITNESS

Teens are able to participate in most adult fitness classes offered at the Y. In addition, special classes are offered just for them. Teen sports and fitness programs are available on a seasonal basis.

Teen - Tween Fitness orientation

Our fitness centers are open to anyone ages 12+. In properly orienting children to the rules and proper use of equipment, teens/tweens age 12-14 must complete two YMCA training plans aimed at orienting them to proper use of equipment and fitness. Programs are conveniently located on our app.

Curious about yoga, but not sure where to start? This beginners series introduces commonly taught yoga poses and the meditation and breathing techniques you can expect in yoga classes. Taught through demonstration, discussion and the opportunity to practice each week in a supportive environment!
