Teen Health and Wellness

Teens are able to participate in most adult fitness classes offered at the Y. In addition, special classes are offered just for them. Teen boxing, dodgeball, basketball and other great classes are available just to kids age 13-17. Check brochure for seasonal listings.

Teen Strength & Fitness Orientation

Required for teens age 12-14  who wish to utilize the fitness center. One day, 2-hour class introduces the fundamentals of fitness and exercise with supervised instructions on strength and cardio equipment.

    Take your game to the next level by improving speed and agility performance. This 4-week clinic is designed to introduce athletes to agility drills and to improve athletic speed and agility to be applied to any sport. Two trainers will teach athletes the proper form and technique when executing drills and they will measure each participant’s time for agility tests, ladder drills and sprint drills. Space is limited, so be sure to register early!

Newly revamped curriculum that includes a thorough two hour class focusing on safety, healthy exercise, smart goal setting and equipment instruction. Taught by trained coaches, teen will learn the basics of exercise and strength workouts as will as safety rules while working out in our Fitness Center
