Martial Arts
Aikido (9 yrs+)
Japanese martial art of unarmed self defense uses attacker's force against them; encourages discipline and a nonviolent attitude. Develops rhythmic movement and physical fitness; improves reaction, perception and coordination; promotes strength and suppleness through twisting, bending and stretching movements.

Free self-defense class
The class covers how to avoid situations where you are likely to become a victim of violent behavior as well as techniques to help you to escape violent behavior before it escalates into a life-threatening situation. Participants should wear comfortable clothes and be prepared to take off their shoes and socks.

Teen Strength & Fitness Orientation (12-14 yrs)
Newly revamped curriculum that includes a thorough two hour class focusing on safety, healthy exercise, smart goal setting and equipment instruction. Taught by trained coaches, teen will learn the basics of exercise and strength workouts as will as safety rules while working out in our Fitness Center
