NOW OPEN!  | Care and activities will adhere to CDC guidelines including decreased capacity, social distancing, frequent handwashing, and all children over the age of two required to wear a mask. Y staff will continue to wear masks. Due to capacity guidelines, families will need to reserve a spot for their child, in advance, for this service.    

While you workout or utilize the facility, your children age 3 months through 6th grade can play and have fun in Stay & Play:

  • FREE to members (children of adult members and youth members)
  • primary guardian must maintain a KidCheck account
  • children are encouraged to follow Stay & Play rules and to grow in the four core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.
  • Doylestown only: During our high-traffic times, we offer separate space for your infant to play or rest. We also open our multi-purpose room for crafts, games and movies during higher traffic times.

Stay & Play FAQ

Are there any new age limitations in Stay & Play?
Age limitations remain the same. Stay & Play is available to ages 3-months through the end of 6th grade. If you can leave older children home, we would encourage you to do so.

How do I register?
Visit the Stay & Play website and click to the MindBody platform for your branch. You may register in advance up to 8PM the prior evening.

Do the children have to wear a mask?
Yes, based on State of Pennsylvania and Bucks County Health Department guidelines, all children above the age of 2 should wear a mask when indoors.

Will you try to take children outside when possible?
Stay & Play will remain an indoor program. We are decreasing capacity to fulfill social distancing protocols.

How will you keep children safe?
We will continue to follow our health and safety practices of mask wearing, daily temperature and health checks, social distancing, frequent handwashing, and high engagement.

How often will manipulatives be cleaned?
In following child care protocols, our toys are cleaned with a standard bleach/water solution regularly throughout operation hours.

Can my child bring a snack?
No, as the children will be with us for a maximum of one hour we are temporarily asking parents not to bring in snacks, outside toys, blankets, etc. from home. 

Can children bring electronics (temporarily)?
No, as the children will be with us for a maximum of one hour we are temporarily asking parents not to bring in electronics.

Can non-members utilize Stay & Play during this time using the $5 drop in rate?
We are currently operating in a members-only format. Only members and their children may utilize the branch.

Are you still using KidCheck?
Yes, we will still utilize KidCheck in the branches where it is utilized.
